The group spins take place every Saturday leaving from the Auburn Lodge, Gort Road, Ennis. The group meets at 8.45am for a 9.00am start. All new members are welcome and group spins will be tailored to suit the different levels of cyclists so there is room for everybody. There will some ocassional group spins on Sundays.

The Clare leg of the cycle will see the group move from Kinvara along the coast to Ballyvaughan heading fro Doolin before a food stop in Liscanner at 12.30 approax.  A Clare FM stop in Lahinch follows at about 1.30pm.  Then it will be off to Miltown Malbay on the way to Killimer before a ferry to tarbet and onward to Tralee for the final overnight stop.

Listen into Clare FM on saturday when the Orange pelethon makes its way through Clare.  Clare FM will be in Lahinch to meet the group.  Collections will be taking place across the county while the cyce takes place.

Clare FM will have county wide coverage of the Clare leg on Saturday 18th – Tune in!!

Saturday sees the final training spin leaving the Clare Crusaders Clinic at 9.30am.  After many months of training there is less than a week to go.  Saturday will be an important day for all cyclists as we receive our event jerseys from the great children who this is all about.  Each cyclist will be presented with their 2009 Malin to Mizen jersey by each of the children that they are cycling on behalf of.  It promises to be a great event with a face painting and a bouncy castle.  All are invited to attend at 1pm in the Auburn Lodge Hotel and show your support for the Clare Crusaders and the brillant childen this is all about. 

After Saturday only 400 miles left to Mizen Head!!!

The final design for the jersey and shorts has been sent to Nalini.  Delivery for week before event.

The designs for the cycle jersey and shorts are on their way to Italy for production.  Tom will be circulating the list of participants and stated jersey sizes to all for final verification of sizes. 

Please ensure your size on the sheet is the correct sizing as this is final chance to verify all.  Also many people have still to confirm if they want to buy event shorts.  Purchasing the shorts is completely optional.

We have been told by the manufacturers Nalini that the padding quality is the same as the professional quality shorts they supply.  If your name is not listed as wishing to purchase shorts can you respond to the email stating your sizing.  NOTE: Participants must pay for their own shorts.  The jerseys are covered by your event registration fee.
